WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a non-invasive, non-manipulative Japanese energy-healing technique used for stress reduction and relaxation, that also promotes healing in the body. Reiki is administered by "laying on hands", based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual discomfort, and facilitates a feeling of well-being, often lasting for several days.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So, Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

IS REIKI PART OF A RELIGION?

No, Reiki is not associated with any religion or dogma. It is an energy based form of healing that creates balance for the mind, body and spirit.

WHAT DOES REIKI FEEL LIKE, AND HOW CAN IT HELP ME?

Reiki has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady, and Reiki works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

A Reiki Treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well- being.

Holy Fire Reiki

WHAT IS HOLY FIRE REIKI?

Holy Fire Reiki is a new more powerful and gentle form of Reiki that was introduced by the International Center of Reiki Training in January of 2014 by William Rand. It is a spiritual energy that creates wholeness through healing, purification, empowerment and guidance.

Holy Fire is the flame of divine love that our spirit and life force is made of, the spark of God that exists in everything. The energy and vibration of the Holy Fire Reiki comes directly from Source, which is pure divine unconditional love, and is available to everyone. Holy Fire energy is here on earth now as an answer to our collective prayers, as humanity is asking to reach new levels of consciousness and unity. The high vibrational energies of the Holy Fire has made itself available through Reiki because Reiki belongs to all beliefs and is easy to learn and practice and is available to the masses.

IS HOLY FIRE REIKI RELIGIOUS?

No, Holy Fire is not intended to have a religious meaning. The word holy has its root meaning to be whole and complete, in mind, body and spirit, and this is how it is used in Holy Fire Reiki. In my experience, Holy Fire is the energy of the Source of All Existence. Whatever a person calls that source is fine. It can be the original Big Bang, Pure Consciousness, God, Mother/Father God, Source, etc. There is no religion, politics or dogma or required belief system in Holy Fire Reiki. It is a healing method to help us be whole.

Holy Fire Reiki is inclusive of all people, without judgment, and is accessible to everyone regardless of religion, spirituality, or political ideals. The energy heals simply because a person invites it. It is not required that it is believed in, in any particular way. It is here to help us heal by using Divine guidance and power to heal our spirit, our mind and our body.

IS USUI REIKI PART OF HOLY FIRE REIKI?

Yes, all four of the Usui Reiki Symbols are part of the Holy Fire Reiki healing techniques. Usui Reiki is a simple method of healing that anyone can learn and do. Holy Fire is a higher vibration that is responding to the collective prayers of people all over the world for a world with higher consciousness.

Holy Fire Karuna Reiki®
Karuna® is a Sanskrit work used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. It means to take away the suffering of others and could also mean to take compassionate action. We, as human beings, find it very natural to extend compassionate action to another and help whenever possible. When we experience enlightenment, we experience all people and the earth as one. We become aware of our thoughts, words, deeds and actions and how they can affect everyone around us. As we become more responsible for our own life and the part we take in it, it affects all of us and we all heal from each other.

Karuna® Reiki is an energy that is extended out of love to ourselves and others. Karuna® is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings working to help end all suffering on Earth.
